Two organizations in the Philippines won three Sticky Awards given by the organizer of IT&CMA and CTW Asia-Pacific 2015 last week at the conclusion of the double-bill MICE event in Bangkok.

The Tourism Promotions Board reaped two awards, one for the “Stickiest Function” after hosting the delegates’ dinner on September 30 and a bronze prize for its pavilion during the three-day event.

Meanwhile, Hospitality News Philippines — a hotel and MICE industry magazine which is the sister publication of Travel Update Philippines — bagged the first-ever Stickiest Social Sharing prize for its social media coverage. Both Hospitality News and Travel Update covered the Bangkok trade event last week.

Korea Tourism Organization and Thai Airways took home the gold title of Stickiest National Pavilion and Stickiest Corporate Booth. Other winners include Resort World Sentosa (corporate booth, silver), Centara Hotels & Resorts (corporate booth, bronze), and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (national pavilion, silver) and Taiwan Convention & Exhibition Association (stickiest marketing and promotion honor).

While not part of the Sticky Awards, another prize was given to the Tourism Promotions Board during the TTG Travel Awards 2015 on October 1 as best in marketing effort.
