Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars at Changi Airport for “Nordic Adventures”

Singapore – Changi Airport is hosting a programme of Nordic-themed experience and activities from May 26 to June 25.

Even if you are travelling to Singapore or passing through, take some time to say hello to Sanrio characters—Hello Kitty, My Melody, Little Twin Stars,  Pompompurin, Gudetama, and Cinnamoroll. The characters will be roaming around Terminal 3 offering photo opportunities and immersive playtime with visitors.

“We are thrilled to be the first in Singapore to host the seven well-loved Sanrio characters – the largest group ever in Singapore. Coupled with immersive Nordic experiences, we hope to deliver yet another memorable Changi experience to all our passengers and shoppers this holiday season,” said Changi Airport Group Vice President, Landside Concession James Fong.

The Nordic-themed Sanrio characters display and meet-and-greet sessions form a key part of the month-long event. Other elements aim to inspire travel to the Nordic countries of Denmark, Iceland, Finland, Norway, and Sweden that are featured in T3’s Departure Hall are a Viking ship-inspired gallery, a snowy landscape featuring the Northern Lights, and a recreation of the old town in Stockholm, Sweden.

Lego play corner has also been installed, alongside a dance mat for the aspiring artists to create their own ABBA remix. A Snow Fun House features a real snow, a chance for kids to build a snowman, visit igloo or ride a luge down a snowy slope.

Nordic animal plush toys and exclusive Sanrio merchandise are also available at the Nordic Gift Store.

Changi Rewards members will also be able to purchase limited-edition Sanrio Changi gift cards, either individually or in a complete set which comes with a limited-edition box for the first 30 customers.

On the other hand, die-hard Sanrio fans can also vote for their favourite Sanrio characters online between now and June 20 for a chance to win a free trip to Sanrio Puroland in Japan.
