Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) presents Toy Story & Pixar Pals Summer Splash that will bring on a cool summer of fun from June 26 to September 1, 2019. Guests are invited to dive into the fun with their Disney•Pixar friends, who are ready to splash and play. With Toy Story 4 hitting the big screen, old and new Toy Story friends cannot wait to meet and take photos with guests. This summer, there will be more new experiences unveiled in the resort. Young guests can make their dreams come true and be transformed into a real-life princess at the brand new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the castle area. An all-new children’s playroom, called Nemo’s Recreation Reef playroom, is opening at Disney Explorers Lodge. Additionally, limited-time seasonal gifts and meals will debut in the resort, while new summer recreation activities await guests in the hotels, offering a complete “Play. Shop. Dine. Stay.” summer experience for guests from around the world. HKDL also announced its new admission ticket prices with a mild adjustment and special offers for the travel trade, with effect from April 24, 2019.
All new Toy Story characters and Disney-Pixar Friends keep summer cool
On Main Street, U.S.A., guests’ favorite Disney•Pixar friends are putting on the “Pixar Water Play Street Party!”. This year, there will be two new floats themed after Toy Story and Finding Nemo spraying refreshing water and mist over the crowds. In the parade, guests will also see characters from Toy Story 4 such as Bo Peep and the new character Forky for a cool, water-filled celebration!
Meet Disney-Pixar Friends
Even more Toy Story excitement is coming to the park as new Disney•Pixar friends are waiting to meet guests! Bo Peep will return to Toy Story 4 and appear in the park in her all-new jumpsuit, along with other Toy Story friends. The Incredibles, including Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible and Frozone, are also ready to meet guests. The eccentric fashion designer Edna Mode, renowned for designing impressive super hero costumes, will also be sharing her latest brilliant ideas.
Seasonal Gifts and Meals
This summer, HKDL is the place to fully experience the fun of Toy Story. More than 280 merchandise items based on Toy Story 4 are available, while more than 40 food and beverage items inspired by the latest Toy Story movie will be available in restaurants across the resort.
New makeover boutique and playroom
The park’s brand new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location will open this summer! Young guests can step into an enchanted setting and feel like royalty as their dreams of being a princess come true! Fairy Godmother-in-Training will wave her magic wand and guests will be able to see exclusive princess costumes and upgraded accessories, and a new magic mirror will show the inner beauty of the princesses.
An all-new children’s playroom, called Nemo’s Recreation Reef playroom, will also open at Disney Explorers Lodge. Young guests can dive into a colorful underwater world inspired by the popular film Finding Nemo, and join Nemo and his friends to explore a shipwreck and get their fins and tentacles busy in recreational activities
Mildest adjustment in admission pricing and special travel trade offers
Meanwhile, HKDL announced its new admission ticket prices and special offers for the travel trade with effect from April 24, 2019. The price adjustment is the mildest over the past years. Under the new pricing, a 1-Day Ticket for General Admission (aged 12–64) will be HK$639 and a Child Ticket (aged 3–11) will be HK$475, whereas 2-Day Tickets for General Admission and Child will be HK$825 and HK$609 respectively. For 1-Day and 2-Day Senior admission tickets, pricing will remain unchanged at HK$100 and HK$170 respectively.
The resort will be offering a two-month grace period to the travel trade to enjoy the old ticket prices from now till June 24, 2019, and the tickets will be valid through the same date.\
