UPDATED June 3, 2014 – Hyatt Regency Hotel and Casino Manila has rolled out a new concept to diners of Market Cafe. The Pan, Plate, and Palate setup of the restaurant allows customers to order a la carte but still enjoy the perks of a buffet setup. Guests still see the variety of dishes and cuisines across different stations and how their dishes are done in the show kitchens.
Designed by Hong Kong-based Bilkey Llinas Design, Market Cafe is an all-day dining restaurant of the hotel with a self-service market style setup. The Pan, Plate, and Palate menu highlights dishes across Market Cafe’s popular stations such as Lemongrass Spring Chicken from the Western station, Szechuan Pork from the Chinese station, and Katsu Curry from the Japanese station, among other dishes of different cuisines that can be prepared in the restaurant’s show kitchens.
The hotel says dishes are carefully plated with focus on offering a healthy, balanced diet. The menu is changed every month.
Pan, Plate, and Palate is available from Mondays through Wednesdays, lunch, at Market Cafe.
Hyatt Regency also brings back its Weekday Dinner buffet at Market Cafe. Dining period is between June 16 and July 30.
