It has been 30 years since 1993, and after a decade-long renovation that was derailed during the pandemic, we are now witnessing a fresh start for the revitalized Holiday Inn Manila Galleria Suites and Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria. These two iconic hotels in Ortigas complex, Quezon City, have rekindled memories of our youth, camaraderie, and friendships, spanning from our early days to our professional careers.

“Our newly renovated suites and lounges are designed to meet the evolving needs of our guests. Whether for business or leisure, we are ready to deliver unparalleled experiences that extend beyond our property,” expressed Patria Puyat, Cluster General Manager of Holiday Inn Manila Galleria and Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria.

This commitment was obvious when the Holiday Inn Manila Galleria showcased its newly transformed spaces in a  ‘360-degrees” event. It features a unique and lively ocular, bringing it up a notch from the usual activity done by hotels. The occasion highlighted its fresh offerings and commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.

It was a feeling of déjà vu, and yet, visiting this hotel that has maintained its caliber and set its sights on the future by staying up-to-date with amenities and innovations bring to mind a noble dedication to sustainability. Holiday Inn Manila Galleria has renovated all 285 rooms (including 36 suites) with amenities that cater to both leisure and corporate guests.

On the other hand, The Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, the city’s pre-eminent MICE address, has refurbished its 262 rooms and suites into a modern convenience setting the stage for a refreshing, hassle-free stay.

The two hotels can be enjoyed from different perspectives.

Manila Galleria Suites, built in 1993 by Robinsons Land Corp., has a historic appeal with a modern vibe. The property boasts 285 rooms and 36 suites under the Holiday Inn brand and has maintained its stature since becoming part of the brand in 2003. Thus, rebranded to Holiday Inn Manila Galleria. On the other hand, Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, built 10 years later, features a 34,000 square foot, pillar-free ballroom and two popular restaurants. These include the award-winning Xin Tian Di, which stands out as the top Chinese restaurant in the area, and the popular all-day dining Seven Corners restaurant.

One important attraction is its immediate accessibility to Robinson’s Mall. I remember the entrance on the 4th floor that provided convenient access to and from the mall in any weather conditions.

A landmark of elegance and chic, towering above the bustling streets and offering ideal panoramic views, these two hotels will once again provide their guests with a renewed experience of what a hotel stay should be.

The suites feature a selection of soft and firm pillows, as well as crisp linens

The 360-Degrees brought the guests on a guided tour across five of the hotel’s premium accommodations —the Premier Room, One-Bedroom Suite, Two-Bedroom Suite, Penthouse Suite, and the exclusive Summit Lounge. Each stop offered a unique perspective on the redesigned spaces, with knowledgeable hosts highlighting the features of each room to ensure that every detail was appreciated.

The renovated rooms have been beautifully restored to blend classic elegance with modern convenience. Every room, including the 36 suites, now features a refreshing teal green color scheme that symbolizes renewal and creates a perfect mix of contemporary flair and relaxing atmosphere.

We were pleasantly surprised to be shown the modern and stylishly designed 1 King Premier Room. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a selection of pastries and non-alcoholic beverages. The guest room features a luxurious, oversized bed with soft linens and large windows that provide stunning views of the Ortigas business district. The room includes a designated work space. The bathroom is both elegant and practical, with a combination tub and shower, high-quality essentials, and plenty of storage space.

Each visit to the room presented us with unique treats that complemented the room’s features, showcasing its diverse design.
