The Philippines Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) is gearing up for the 32nd Travel Tour Expo (TTE) 2025, themed “Beyond Borders,” set to take place at the SMX Convention Center on February 7-9, 2025.
For the past three decades, the TTE has established itself as the ultimate travel and tourism event. This year’s edition promises to outdo itself, featuring over 300 exhibitors and drawing an expected crowd of more than 100,000 attendees.
During the recent media launch, PTAA President Evangeline Tankiang-Manotok shared, “It is with great excitement that we welcome you all to the 32nd Travel Tour Expo 2025. This year we embrace the theme ‘Beyond Borders,’ reflecting how the PTAA is thinking outside the box, pushing boundaries, and redefining the way we explore the world. Welcome to the ‘Year of the Wooden Snake’. We celebrate new beginnings, prosperity, and the adventurous spirit that drives us to explore beyond our limits.”
The event aims to offer significant travel discounts, exclusive experiences, and a wide array of destinations. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain expert travel advice and take advantage of exclusive deals for both domestic and international adventures.
“The great thing about the TTE is that you will find everything under one roof — airlines, resorts, cruise tours, and more. There are so many options to choose from, and you can even opt to pay by installment, depending on your bank,” added PTAA PRO Chal Lontoc-del Rosario.

Major sponsors include the Department of Tourism, Union Bank of the Philippines, and Philippines Airlines.
With a focus on creating unforgettable journeys and new discoveries, the Expo is expected to be the biggest and best yet, a one-stop-shop for airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise ships, and travel essentials.
“We believe that travel is no longer about visiting places; it is about breaking barriers, discovering new cultures, and creating unforgettable experiences,” Manotok added.
Meanwhile, the International Travel Tour Expo (ITTE), the business-to-business travel exchange of TTE, is celebrating its 10th year. Coinciding with TTE, the event will take place on February 7-8 at Function Room 5, 2nd Level, SMX Convention Centre. PTAA VP for Outbound Evelyn Dy Bondagjy has confirmed that Sellers from 50 countries overseas will be participating in the travel exchange. There will be 108 booths with 90 exhibitors showcasing their travel products, destinations, and tour packages, and they will be meeting with 210 PTAA hosted buyers.
“We aim to empower our members by facilitating direct business interactions with international sellers. This allows them to offer affordable packages without the need for intermediaries in the travel industry.”
Tickets to the TTE are now on sale for P100 for general admission and P80 for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
Union Bank cardholders get free entrance, offering 0% interest when you book a flight with Philippine Airlines with a minimum of P20,000 airfare, or buy-now-pay-later options for travel packages booked on-site, making it very affordable and accessible for people who want to travel.
