Travel Tour Expo (TTE) 2015 will be the biggest version in the expo’s 22-year history, occupying a much larger space at SMX Convention Center with at least 288 confirmed exhibitors.

Organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) since 1994, TTE will use all four halls of the main floor and the five function rooms on the second floor of the convention center. That means the 16,230-square meter exhibition floor space of SMX will be utilized in the event, which will run on February 13 to 15.

Aside from airlines, hotels, resorts, national tourism organizations, travel agents, and tour operators, PTAA officers said medical tourism sector will participate at TTE where destinations and medical procedures will be bundled into travel packages.

Last year, TTE attracted more than 70,000 visitors in the three-day event.

TTE is one of the events lined up in Visit the Philippines Year 2015. Domingo Ramon Enerio III, chief operating officer of the Tourism Promotions Board, revealed during the press conference that the year-round program will highlight events on arts and culture, adventure, lifestyle, entertainment, travel, adventure, sports, and business.
