The city of Osaka, Japan is set to shine bright this winter season with the launch of the ‘Festival of the Lights in OSAKA 2024.’ The event, organized by the Festival of the Lights in Osaka Executive Committee, will see numerous light programs illuminating the city starting from November 3, 2024.
The festival, which will run until January 31, 2025, will feature a variety of illumination events at landmark locations throughout Osaka. Some of the main highlights of the festival include the Midosuji Illumination 2024, OSAKA Light Renaissance 2024, and various area programs presented by local organizations across the city.
The Midosuji Illumination will see Osaka’s symbolic boulevard transformed into a corridor of light, while the OSAKA Light Renaissance will feature illumination events held throughout the Nakanoshima area. There will be 30 innovative light programs presented by 29 local organizations at various locations in Osaka.
The Festival of the Lights in OSAKA Executive Committee, which includes the Osaka Prefectural Government, Osaka City Government, Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau, and various economic organizations, is dedicated to creating a dazzling light show that will mesmerize visitors and residents alike.
