For 25 years, Kabayan Hotel has served as a reliable address for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and distinctly Filipino hospitality in the heart of Pasay City. Since opening in 2001 as a full-fledged budget hotel, the property has remained committed to providing safe, accessible, and affordable accommodations for both domestic and international guests.

In 2026, as it celebrates its silver anniversary, Kabayan Hotel enters a new phase with the launch of its newly designed Deluxe Rooms—developed to meet evolving guest needs while maintaining its core value proposition of affordability and practicality.

The hotel’s story is rooted in a pivotal transformation in 1992, when founder Wyden King made the decision to close his chain of hotels following a personal spiritual conviction. This marked the beginning of a renewed vision that led to the reopening of the Pasay property in 2001 under the Kabayan Hotel brand. From the outset, the goal was clear: to offer a welcoming space where guests can experience genuine Filipino warmth at a price point within reach.

Over the years, Kabayan Hotel has grown alongside Pasay’s development as a key gateway to Metro Manila. Its expansion along EDSA, along with the addition of function rooms and facilities, has enabled the hotel to cater to a broader market, including overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), balikbayans, corporate travelers, and leisure guests.

The newly introduced Deluxe Rooms are designed with flexibility and efficiency in mind—key considerations for today’s value-conscious traveler. Configurations include double beds with pull-out options, allowing the rooms to comfortably accommodate small groups of three to four guests. The layout maximizes space while integrating essential modern amenities, aligning with the needs of both short-stay and extended-stay segments.

Strategically located in Pasay City, Kabayan Hotel benefits from proximity to major transport hubs and key attractions such as SM Mall of Asia and Manila Ocean Park. Cultural landmarks including Rizal Park, Intramuros, and the National Museum of Natural History are likewise within easy reach—enhancing its appeal to both business and leisure segments.

Guided by its enduring tagline, “Malapit sa Lahat. Maaasahan ng Lahat.”, Kabayan Hotel continues to position itself as an accessible and dependable hospitality provider rooted in Filipino values.

As it marks 25 years in the industry, Kabayan Hotel reaffirms its commitment to delivering practical, flexible, and value-driven accommodations—ensuring it remains a trusted partner for travel trade stakeholders and a preferred choice for budget-conscious travelers.
