In response to strong inbound travel demand, Jetstar Japan has resumed Manila=Osaka (Kansai) route for the first time in nearly six years. During the winter flight schedule period (26 October, 2025 – 28 March, 2026), the airline will operate up to seven return trips per week using Airbus A320 aircraft. Jetstar Japan is the only Japanese airline operating direct flights between Kansai and Manila.
The inaugural resumed flight, GK81, departed Kansai International Airport at 22:08 (Japan local time) and took off at 22:30 (Japan local time), bound for Manila.
The launch of the Manila=Kansai route will expand travel options for our customers and further enhance convenience. With Manila=Kansai route, Jetstar Japan will now operate two international routes to and from Kansai during the winter flight schedule period, including the existing Kansai=Taipei (Taoyuan) service. Combined, the airline will operate up to 21 return trips per week.
