Singapore, June 2, 2026 – Travel around Southeast Asia just got a little lighter. Mastercard has launched Phone. Passport. Mastercard., a regional travel campaign that turns the modern traveler’s checklist into one simple promise: all you need to unlock more of the region is your phone, your passport and your Mastercard. Rolling out across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam, the campaign, developed in collaboration with issuing banks and merchant networks, brings together more than 300 offers across dining, shopping, stays, transport and experiences, making spontaneous getaways, long weekends and intraASEAN travel adventures easier to plan, pay for and enjoy. 

With Phone. Passport. Mastercard., Mastercard is supporting travelers with three essentials that make travel feel more seamless: a trusted payments network, wide acceptance and perks designed for everyday and travel spending. As more travelers choose short-haul trips closer to home, Mastercard helps them unlock smoother, better-value journeys across the region. Travelers can pay with confidence, whether they are tapping for a ride after landing, paying for dinner in a new city, unlocking an offer at a mall or booking a stay. Behind each payment, Mastercard’s secure digital technologies — including tokenization, multi-factor authentication and fraud monitoring — help protect card details, verify transactions and detect suspicious activity, enabling fast, secure and reliable cross-border payments. This helps take the weight off the mechanics of travel so that travelers can immerse themselves in the moments that make each trip worthwhile. 

Beyond the traveler experience, the campaign also supports the region’s travel ecosystem by helping merchants and travel collaborators engage consumers along high-frequency short-haul corridors.
